Journeys End V1 Chardonnay 2019

A wine carefully balanced between citrus and mineral freshness, ripe stone and tropical fruits, between preserving those crisp fruit flavours and the roundness, softness and complexity of subtle oak ageing.

Spending 9 months on oak, of which only 30% was new, the rest being used, adds a lovely mouthfeel and complex spice and savoury notes without becoming too rich and creamy. The clean fruits of lemon, apple, pear and pineapple shine through with a crisp and tangy finish.
